Local Long Weekend

If you’re planning to stay somewhat local, a road trip to New York or New England is the perfect bachelor getaway.

New York Area – MetLife stadium, in East Rutherford, NJ, is just 278 miles from New Era Field. If you act fast, you and the guys can catch the Bills in New York on November 11. Stay at the Soho Grand Hotel in downtown Manhattan for central access to all that New York has to offer, including The Travel Team’s featured restaurants: Babo, ‘21’ Club and Gotham Bar and Grill; and experience the nightlife at Blacktail, Chumley’s and Cecconi’s, a trio of NYC bars you’ve got to experience while in the city.

New England – Only 387 miles stand between you and an away game against the 2017 NFL champion New England Patriots. The Bills will charge into Gillette Stadium on December 23, giving you a chance to take in all this coastal region has to offer before and after the game. Head to the coast for fresh seafood in quaint villages, or stay in the city and experience the history and culture of Boston. Our experts suggest you stop by the Bodega Store, a fully functioning convenience store with a secret passageway (via the Snapple machine) to an emporium of carefully curated streetwear and sneakers. Check out a sampling of other New England treasures at On The Road.

Catch a Classic Rivalry

For a once-in-a-lifetime experience, gather the gang and head to Miami to witness one of the league’s greatest rivalries, Bills versus Dolphins. The Bills head to Miami on December 2. While in Florida, we recommend staying a few days at the Cheeca Lodge & Spa for some sport fishing at this world premier destination. Charter a boat or fish from the 525-foot pier (the longest in the Keys) for more than 500 species of fish. While driving along the Overseas Highway, stop in at the iconic Green Turtle Inn, featured on the Food Network’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, for a hearty bowl of their famous turtle chowder.
